Stephen Gomez founded Gomez & Patton Real Estate, now GPK, when the luxury condominium market was just emerging. For over 30 years, Stephen has brought unparalleled personal service to his clients. Clients choose to work with Stephen because of his extensive knowledge of every stage of the real estate transaction and his unfailing sense of authenticity and integrity.
During his career, Stephen has sold over $1 Billion of real estate in virtually every major condominium and co-op building. Included among these sales are many significant single-family homes located in San Francisco’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Stephen’s contacts and connections in the business arena and community provide his clients with unique access to some of the best real estate in the City, often off market.
Stephen, a native San Franciscan with literary roots, began his residential real estate career after a stint in creative writing. He attended the University of San Francisco where he received a double major in communication arts and English literature, and then went on to receive a degree in Philosophy and Letters from the University of Madrid. His fluency in Spanish enables him to communicate with and provide confidence to his numerous international clients.
In addition to his passion for the real estate business, Stephen is just as deeply committed to the local community. Stephen gives back to his native city both economically and by serving on several foundation boards, which include - the Board of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation, the Nob Hill Association (San Francisco's oldest neighborhood association), and numerous Homeowner Association boards and committees. He has also volunteered as a tutor and interpreter at the Episcopal Community Services Adult Education Department and has served as a Poet Judge on behalf of America SCORES, Bay Area.
Stephen is also the author of two books of bilingual poetry. He continues to write, edit and collaborate both prose and poetry and is presently working on a novel of historic fiction. Stephen currently lives in Russian Hill.
